Frequently asked questions

Is there a free trial?

The Basic plan is free forever — no credit card required. You can upgrade to Plus or Pro whenever you need more groups, storage, or AI capacity.

How does annual billing work?

When you choose annual billing you pay upfront for 10 months and get 12 — that's 2 months free (≈17% off). You'll receive one invoice per year and can switch back to monthly at your next renewal.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from your account settings. When upgrading, you're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing period.

What counts as a 'group'?

A group is a single co-ownership arrangement — like a shared vacation home or a family investment pool. Each group has its own members, assets, ledger, and base currency.

Do you have an API?

Yes. Our REST API is live and fully documented at kinco.io/docs. It's a separate product from the consumer app — reach out at [email protected] and we'll get you set up with access.

When should I choose Enterprise?

Enterprise is for family offices, trusts, and institutions that need SOC 2 compliance, custom data residency, a white-label experience, or a custom SLA. Reach out at [email protected] and we will scope a plan that fits.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Both monthly and annual billing are available.
